Join Karen Plater and stewardship expert Lori Guenther Reesor will explore what it means to have a deficit and talk about what to do when your congregation finds itself in cycles of repeated deficits. Discover ways to communicate the situation to the congregation that help build up your ministry and strategize how to break the cycle of deficits, while being faithful to God’s mission.
Karen has been the Associate Secretary for Stewardship & Planned Giving for the past 16 years. Lori is a speaker, writer, and stewardship coach as she seeks to be a faithful disciple of Christ. She has expertise in Christian fundraising, having done extensive research into Christian giving in Canada, working with charities big and small, and from theological training with a focus on church and money.
