Part Time – approximately 12-15 hours per week

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is in a time of transition as we search for a new minister.

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Music Coordinator who will lead the congregation to celebrate the joy of music and foster spiritual growth. Currently we enjoy a blend of traditional hymns and more modern praise music. The music program that the successful candidate will develop will embrace our core values – gospel centred, faith driven, loving relationships and social responsibility.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills. A proficiency in piano and/or organ will be an asset, but all areas of musicianship will be considered.

The Music Coordinator will be expected to commit to approximately 12-15 hours per week including preparation, rehearsal and providing music leadership for Sunday services. The Music Coordinator will also be expected to meet with the minister on a regular basis, attend monthly meetings of the worship committee and assist with special services as required.
