Funeral services for the Reverend Dr. Everett James Briard will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023. For LGBTQI2+ people, choosing to come out about their sexual orientation or gender identity within their church community can be a significant decision. This webinar on Wednesday, February 15, will equip ministers, elders, youth leaders and other pastoral care providers to respond well when members of their communities come out, and provide information about how to offer appropriate supports.
The national church is looking for photos of doors, entrances and gates to use on bulletin covers and showcase in the newspaper and the 2024 edition of the PCC Wall Calendar. We invite you to send us any images from the lives of the church’s ministries or people that represent crossings, meeting places and opportunities for renewal and change.
