“Barbara was always aware of the many blessings she had and that all her good gifts were from God! Our family went into ministry in Kingston, Ontario in September 1975. To say our lifestyle changed is a bit of an understatement. It was the middle of December and my Mum had no idea how she was ever going to pay for Christmas presents or even a Christmas meal. Then her prayers were answered: a cheque came in the mail from the PCC Ministerial Assistance Fund. I still remember my Mum sitting on the steps leading to our basement laundry room, cheque in hand, weeping!! This fund and the generosity of others allowed my family to have a wonderful Christmas! Barbara never forgot this and has supported this Fund for years. She wanted others to know how important this ministry is and how it impacts the families of Ministers.”
