HEATH, DAVID SIDNEY July 16, 1942 – April 9, 2024

The Rev. David Sidney HeathThe Rev. David Sidney Heath, aged 81 years in his home in Kelowna, BC, on April 9th.

David is survived by his wife, Sandra (née Hobson) of 57-years and his sisters, Lianne (Gord), Wendy (James), Bev (Bob) and Deborah (Mike). David was predeceased by his sister, Margo (Allan).

David was born in Toronto, met Sandy in Cobourg and they started their journey together in Ottawa.

David and Sandra raised three children together, Lori (Dallas) Andrew and Robyn (Adam). He was beloved Papa Dave to Adam, Katie, Sydney, Dexter and Sophie.

Dave dedicated his life to the Lord, serving with the Presbyterian Church in Canada across the country as well as Internationally.

Dave was listening to his favourite hymns as he passed, and was unwavering to the end in his faith and trust in the Lord.

We are comforted knowing that he has been “promoted to Glory”; telling stories, leading in song and there’s a bit of extra joy and laughter in Heaven today.

At David’s request, there will be a private committal of his remains in the family plot in Kars, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to foodgrainsbank.ca .
