She and Bruce married and went into ministry together, serving churches in Grande Prairie, AB; Strathroy and St. Catharines, ON; New Glasgow, NS; St. Laurent, QC; and Westville, NS. Dorothy was active in the choir, children’s ministries, and women’s groups at each location, as well as occasionally preaching when Bruce was away. They retired to Halifax and, later, to Wolfville.

She will be missed by children, Susan (Philip) Mosher, Canaan, NS; Bonnie (Christopher) Coram, Edmonton, AB; and Douglas (Sarah) Robertson, Whitby, ON; grandchildren, Benjamin (Katelynne) and Sarah (Mallory); Rebecca (Addison), Angela, and Jeremy; Andrew and May; sister, Carol (Daniel) Martin, North Carolina; niece, nephew, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. J. Bruce Robertson and sister, Marcia Baker (Donald Lehtola).

Dorothy’s family wish to thank Dr. Targett and all the staff at Blomidon Court for their kind and compassionate care over the last few years.
