Legacy Gifts and Planned Giving All

Legacy Gifts and Planned Giving All gifts are “planned” to some extent. Even our weekly giving in church usually follows a plan. However, when we speak of planned gifts we are referring to gifts that require more intentional planning and often come from accumulated assets. They are given in a will, charitable remainder trust, or life-insurance plan, where the funds are realized sometime in the future, creating a legacy. Often, this type of gift carries immediate tax benefits for the donor. Planned gifts can be a great way to support capital campaigns and endowments that support the mission of the church far into the future.

Planning to make a lasting impact with your gift is easier than you might think. Read about the many ways you can give a planned gift by clicking here.
