Description:
Ecumenical shared ministry is when people of different denominations worship and serve God in a unified way while still maintaining their denominational identities and connections. It can take many forms, including sharing a program, mission, ministry, or building. While congregations often consider this option for economic reasons, sharing ministry across denominations provides many benefits, including a unified Christian witness, stronger ministry programs, larger networks of resources and support, and a diversity of perspectives and practices. In this webinar, we will discuss the process of establishing an ecumenical shared ministry in The Presbyterian Church in Canada and hear from ministry leaders who are currently serving in an ecumenical shared ministry.
