In the series, Religion and Fate in Film, we will explore the intersection of religion and fate through two Hollywood films. In the film “The Adjustment Bureau”, the lives of two people, seemingly intertwined by fate, are orchestrated by agents assigned to them. Matt Damon and Emily Blount star in this intriguing journey that asks the question, “Do people have free will?” A study guide will provide tips for film-viewing, connections to biblical teachings and theological concepts, and guidance for discussion.
