Ecclesial innovation in 2018 certainly looks different than it did one generation ago. In the midst of this difference, we can find some common practices amongst churches that are prioritizing the mission of God. From context to context a priority on boundary crossing, discerning God’s initiatives, treating neighbors as mutual subjects and choosing a plural leadership, has been common across North America. The best news is that this isn’t just for experts! All of God’s people can choose these priorities.
