Dr. Leora Gansworth
This one-hour webinar explored insights about how ongoing changes to land and water uniquely impact the inter-generational lives of Indigenous peoples and “all our relations” including birds, fish, plants and others. Questions of climate justice are about living well together, and Dr. Leora Gansworth shared some examples of how faith and action might work together to pursue mino-bimadiziwin, an Anishinabe concept that talks about pursuing a good and balanced life. Dr. Gansworth is Anishinabe-kwe, a community-engaged scholar and Anishinabe geographer. Her professional work draws from Anishinabe legal traditions including relationships and responsibilities to water.
