New Advent Resource: The Texts Behind the Tunes

The Presbyterian Church in Canada is offering a new Advent program, The Texts Behind the Tunes, that is written by The Moderator of the 2024 General Assembly, the Rev. Dr. Patricia Dutcher-Walls. The program will help congregations understand and appreciate the Old Testament texts that underlie the many beautiful hymns sung during Advent. Congregations can use this program as an Advent Bible study, an Advent sermon or full service.
