At her residence, August 14, 2026, Mrs. Ida Human of Grand Falls died at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of the Rev Dr Andrew Human. Born in Brockville Ontario in 1958, she was the sweet daughter of Kryna “Kathy” de Graaf and the late Urias “Jack” de Graaf.
She was loved by her three daughters, Patricia Roberts (Mike Whitehouse), Cynthia Annandale (Jeffrey) and Andrea Sherlock (Tyler). She was the devoted Oma of her loving grandchildren, Nicole Roberts, Noah Roberts, Alysha Annandale and Brianna Annandale. She was a dear sister to Jane Billings. Ida was a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Ida was a skilled Intensive Care Registered Nurse for a number of years before she became a dedicated spiritual leader alongside her husband of almost 47 years, who became a minister in the Presbyterian church. Her caring and loving demeanor caused her to be greatly loved by all whom she ministered to. Her infectious smile touched all who met her. She always saw the good in all people and treated everyone with dignity and respect.
Even in the most difficult days of her illness, she continued to share kindness and gratitude to everyone around her. Her faith remained strong until the end. She leaves a legacy of devoted service and love.
