Looking to participate in God’s mission in a new way?

Learn how The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s mission partners in Nepal are sharing the good news of the gospel in word and action. Discover how programs supported by Presbyterians Sharing and Presbyterian World Service & Development are changing people’s lives.

Nepal – Hobbit Book Club

Participants will:

  • Participate in the mission and ministry of The Presbyterian Church in Canada
  • Spend time with PCC mission staff, the Rev. Lora Nafziger & Mitch Rhodes, and see first-hand the work they are doing with United Mission to Nepal (UMN).
  • Visit the United Mission Hospital Tansen
  • Witness the life-changing work at New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre
  • Visit UMN projects in Nawalparasi
  • Visit International Nepal Fellowship Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara where PWS&D is supporting the medical needs of poor patients
  • Tour cultural sites

Date: November 17 – 26 (with optional extensions to November 29)

Cost: $4000 (includes flights, accommodation and food)
Funding assistance is available

Deadline: The deadline for application is Friday, June 20. All candidates will be interviewed prior to selection.
