We pray for the people of Lebanon as they are under increased threat of violence and especially for the students, staff and faculty of the Near East School of Theology (NEST) in Beirut and the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) that brings together churches in the East for a common Christian witness in a region where Christ was born, lived, died and resurrected.
Update: On September 25, 2024, we heard from NEST and our other partners that their staff is safe but that the situation in the country is dire.
