There has been an increase of conflict in many areas of the world – Gaza, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan and Haiti to name a few.
At the same, the climate crisis has been having drastic and sometimes deadly impacts in already vulnerable areas—floods in Pakistan and in Malawi, drought in Somalia, or earthquakes in Nepal.
Conflict and climate, combined with other factors, can contribute to and worsen humanitarian crises.
How does the church response in challenging situations? What is going on in these crises?
Come to an interactive workshop (Saturday, July 6 at 2pm) where we will look at the state of the world and on how the church responds through Presbyterian World Service & Development and its ecumenical partners and coalitions.
