John Bannerman
Co-Convener, OntarioJohn joined the PWS&D Committee in 2018 and now serves as co-convener of the committee with the Rev. Theresa McDonald-Lee. One highlight of his time on the committee was his participation in a PWS&D partner visit to Malawi in the winter of 2020. John is a retired Minister within The Presbyterian Church in Canada and now lives with his wife Laurie in Exeter, Ontario. He enjoys music, sports, family life and exploring God’s creation.Theresa McDonald-Lee
Co-Convener, Ontario Theresa joined the PWS&D committee in 2019. She is the Co-Executive Director at Camp Kintail near Goderich, Ontario. She is passionate about creating an equitable and compassionate world, beginning with children. Theresa loves the story of the welcome table that God sets for all. She is looking forward to championing the good work of PWS&D.Okelo Aballa
Committee, Alberta Okelo is a certified candidate for ordination and a VST student. He has been a leader for Anyuak Worshipping Community for the last 15 years (the worshipping community became part of Centennial Presbyterian church in 2016), and he is an elder in Centennial. In addition, he works as a CNC Programming Engineer.Victoria Chandler
Committee, Nova ScotiaVictoria joined the PWS&D Committee in 2021. She works as an Occupational Therapist in Halifax and brings with her a focus on skills development and enablement. Victoria participated in the Presbyterian Church’s Healing and Reconciliation tour in 2019, as she is passionate about justice and advocacy. Victoria looks forward to bringing her skills and passion to the committee.
