Are you a PWS&D Champion, wondering how to engage your congregation this fall? Read on for suggestions that, with a little bit of effort, will make a big impact!

Do the Journey for Hope

The Journey for Hope is happening on September 28. Whether you like to walk, bike, play board games, or do another activity—join a team or create your own to raise support for people in need of food support around the world. You can read about one team’s experience here.

Host A World Food Day Event

“A greater diversity of nutritious foods should be available in our fields, in our markets, and on our tables, for the benefit of all” (UN). On World Food Day, October 16, stand up for the right to diverse, nutritious food for all by hosting a lunch-and-learn or a bake sale fundraiser. We are happy to provide a poster, other print and digital resources, and maybe even a guest speaker at your event to help you champion for change in this way. Read about the theme for the 2024 event at https://www.fao.org/world-food-day/.
