Following the example set by Jesus, our church responds faithfully to the call to serve people in need. By giving generously today, you are reaching out to someone in need and helping them create lasting change for themselves and their community.
Your monthly gifts mean overseas partners can rely on regular and consistent support. Monthly payments are also easy for you and help keep PWS&D’s administrative costs low, enabling us to use your gifts as effectively as possible.
Make a contribution that will help PWS&D provide relief and assistance in times of emergency, teach farmers how to grow more food to feed their families, empower men and women to start small businesses and give children the opportunity to go to school.
Celebrate a special occasion or person in your life by making a gift in their memory or honour. PWS&D will send them a beautiful card acknowledging your donation.
Give a gift with meaning! The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s Gifts of Change catalogue supports marginalized communities across Canada and around the world. No matter what you choose to support, you can be sure your gifts will be used effectively and efficiently to carry out life-changing programs.
In Jesus’s hands fives loaves and two fishes became enough to feed a multitude, with plenty remaining. Become a part of the ongoing miracle of multiplication by donating to Presbyterian World Service & Development’s Loaves and Fishes Fund. Planned gifts harness the power of your investment money, provide a steady stream of income to PWS&D and use tax efficient strategies to maximize your gift and your own tax savings.
Designated and Undesignated Donations
All donations to Presbyterian World Service & Development are greatly appreciated and valued whether the gift is designated to a specific program or country, or undesignated. While all designated gifts are honoured, undesignated donations provide the most flexibility and allow PWS&D to respond to programs with the greatest need. Undesignated donations can be used to support long-term programs that address the root causes of poverty and bring lasting change, or allow PWS&D to respond to disasters, including emergencies that do not attract widespread media attention and often lack public support.
