The last Sunday of September each year is designated Presbyterians Sharing Sunday. Presbyterians Sharing Sunday is a time we celebrate, pray for, learn from and support the mission and ministry we do together. From grants helping congregations try new things, to supporting international and Canadian mission partners’ outreach programs, to equipping ministers and lay leaders to lead with vision, to connecting people in prayer, worship, reflection and dialogue, Presbyterians in Canada are proclaiming the Good News in word and action through gifts to Presbyterians Sharing.

The third Sunday of November each year is designated Legacy Sunday, to coincide with National Philanthropy Day (Nov. 15). This is a great day for congregations to celebrate the legacies people have made to the church, Canada and the world, and to highlight how planned gifts can provide for generations to come.

Worship resources for clergy and worship leaders are available for a service highlighting legacies and planned gifts.

The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s Global Mission program has been designed to allow adults and youth to accompany Presbyterian mission partners in Canada and overseas through short-term mission experiences. Click on the applicable link below if you’re interested in learning new skills and growing in grace by serving others through missions.

Webinars are a convenient way to learn without having to travel. Knowledgeable experts share targeted, useful and inspirational information and immediately answer questions from participants attending from across the country.
