East Africa is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis. Conflicts, such as those in Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo, are forcing thousands of families from their homes. Furthermore, extreme climate weather events across the Horn of Africa have created high levels of hunger.  

PWS&D is currently supporting food assistance responses in Kenya, Somalia, and Sudan, where food baskets, health and nutrition services and food vouchers are being provided to those in need.

However, the need is still great, and we need to scale up our response significantly.
