Women and girls learn about their health and reproductive rights in India

On Sunday, March 8, people all over the world will celebrate International Women’s Day where the accomplishments of women will be commemorated all over the globe. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

This International Women’s Day, the theme is #EachforEqual—demanding equality among genders in every aspect of our society. An equal society means a healthier and happier humanity. When we work together to fight gender disparities, we become closer to an enabled world!

PWS&D is passionate about a world where gender equality is present. Working in Afghanistan, Malawi, India, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Ghana, we strive to support vulnerable girls and women to live a life where they can meet their ambitions and do so in a healthy and happy way.
