Championing for Change can involve more than sharing news from PWS&D with your congregation. This week, try spreading the word about PWS&D wherever you find yourself!

At home
You can engage your children or grandchildren in the work of PWS&D with our new youth resource, “School’s In.” Its five lessons and two games are a fun way for the whole family to explore the importance of education in overcoming poverty and building a better world.

At work
Maybe you prepare food at a coffee shop, oversee a team in an office, or volunteer in a school. Wherever you work, consider asking permission to set up a Giving Tree there this holiday season.

At the gym
The Ride for Refuge is a great way to engage your active friends. Ask if you can hang a flyer seeking team members or requesting donations!

Running errands
Pick up a few extra pairs of socks before you check out at the clothing store. It’s the first time many refugees will experience a Canadian winter, and they might appreciate a warm gift!

On vacation
As you take some time to slow down during your vacation, remember PWS&D, our partners and those we serve in prayer.
