Despite the current lockdown, volunteers from St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ont., continue to prioritize donations to Canadian Blood Services.
The Rev. Bruce McAnsh of Burlington East Presbyterian Church in Burlington, Ont., recently formed a trio (of himself) for the congregation’s online Children’s Time.
This Easter, families and friends of Camp Kintail in Goderich, Ont., received activity packages as part of Camp Kintail’s Easter-in-a- Basket program. The pack- ages contained eight mini- lessons, one for each day from Palm Sunday to Easter, providing a meaningful and fun Holy Week and Easter experience from the comfort of home.
This year, Holy-Week-in-a-Bag kits were created for members of Knox Presbyterian Church in Vernon, B.C., to help bring the stories of that fateful week up close and personal for everyone at home. Small items from local community businesses were added to a decorative bag, along with some printed articles, including a reading schedule to follow the lessons of Holy Week.
