The Assembly Council met for its semi-annual meeting at Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre from November 24-26 with members coming from across the country to work together and ensure that the work of the church is carried out efficiently and effectively within the policies established by the General Assembly.
The Rev. Amanda Currie, Moderator of the 2019 General Assembly, offers a Christmas message reflecting on including all in our circle of faith and God coming to be with us through the birth of Jesus.

In this season of Advent, we pray that we will deepen our commitment to our journey of repentance for harm done to LGBTQI people in the church begun in the Moderator’s Letter of Repentance in 2018.
We pray for Sylvia Haddad, director of the Joint Christian Committee for Social Service in Lebanon, who, along with her staff, are faithfully serving the Palestinian and Syrian refugees.
