It’s fitting then that while you read this, I’ll be at a conference in New Orleans, listening to Shane Claiborne talk about wealth and stewardship. A perfect end to a year that focused on Claiborne’s teachings and his call to be a better Christian.

Justice isn’t just about giving money to a person on the street, or writing a cheque for an outreach project, or giving your old clothes to a charity. Those are all good and necessary things, but justice goes way beyond that.
