Peacefully on December 24, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, Rev. Robert Warren Johnson died. He was in his 92nd year. Survived by his sister Janice Jankowsky of Colorado and his brother George (Carolyn) Johnson of California as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Lois and brother-in-law Robert Jankowsky.
Robert was ordained and served the Presbyterian Church in Canada in Montreal and southern Ontario. Later he transferred into the United Church of Canada where he served numerous congregations as a Specialized Intentional Interim Minister. Robert will be remembered as a kind, caring man dedicated to serving others.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Jame’s United Church, 306 Parkside Dr., Waterdown, ON, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2 p.m. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
