Responding to the Opioid Crisis

Canada is in the midst of an opioid crisis. With opioid-related deaths on the rise year after year, it is a major public health concern that not only affects Canada’s largest cities, but also rural and remote communities throughout the country.
Justice Ministries is looking to connct with congregations that have experience in providing community support to those who are struggling with addictions or impacted by the opioid crisis.

The newest issue of the PCC’s Prayer Partnership provides daily prayers, Sunday Mission Moments and monthly Social Action Spotlights for January to March 2022. The prayers, Mission Moments and Social Action Spotlights are available to download in a number of formats, including PDF booklet, print-friendly Word document and slide presentation, and can be used online, during worship or in your church newsletter.

Fear Not, I Am With You is a new compilation of sermons given at the 2021 General Assembly of the PCC. The booklet—which includes three sermons preached by the Rev. Dr. Richard Topping, Principal at the Vancouver School of Theology, and the opening sermon preached by the Rev.
