Designed to help ruling elders explore the practice of prayer in their role as congregational leaders, this prayer workbook can be used for personal study, group study and Session starters, as well as for elder training and mentorship. The newest issue of the PCC’s Prayer Partnership provides daily prayers, Sunday Mission Moments and monthly Social Action Spotlights for October to December 2021. The prayers, Mission Moments and Social Action Spotlights are available to download in a number of formats, including PDF booklet, print-friendly Word document and slide presentation, and can be used online, during worship or in your church newsletter.

The 2021 Acts and Proceedings, containing the official minutes and reports of the 2021 General Assembly, is now available to download for free on the PCC website or to order in print through the PCC Resource Ordering Portal or online order form, at a cost of $45 each.

Adult Discipleship Resources

A comprehensive list of adult faith formation resources is now available on the PCC website. The selection of recommended resources ranges from traditional curricula, Bible and book studies to resources that reflect current trends in faith formation, such as spiritual practice ideas and online course offerings. The list also includes resources that are specific to different life stages and learning types. With this reference tool, congregations will be well-equipped to support adults from all walks of life on their faith journeys.

Rainbow Pathways: Exploring LGBTQI2+ Welcome and Inclusion
Dates: November 6 and November 13
Time: 1 – 5:30 p.m. (Eastern)
This free online course, comprised of four modules on Saturday, November 6, and November 13, is an opportunity to equip congregations to be more welcoming and inclusive of LGBTQI2+ people and families. Ministry leaders are invited to participate to learn how to recognize barriers to LGBTQI2+ people in local ministry contexts and how to take further steps towards welcome and inclusion.
