Presbyterians Sharing Sunday is September 27, 2020!

Part of the joy of being in ministry together is seeing the remarkable things God does when we put our gifts in God’s hands. Presbyterians Sharing Sunday is a time we celebrate, pray for, learn from and support the mission and ministry we do together. From grants helping congregations try new things, to supporting international and Canadian mission partners’ outreach programs, to equipping ministers and lay leaders to lead with vision, to connecting people in prayer, worship, reflection and dialogue, Presbyterians in Canada are proclaiming the Good News in word and action through gifts to Presbyterians Sharing.

The Rev. Amanda Currie, Moderator of the General Assembly, has prepared a full worship service to help congregations reflect on the ways Presbyterians Sharing is making a difference, to be used on Sunday, Sept. 27, or any Sunday. Complete with a call to worship, prayers, children’s story, hymn suggestions, scripture and sermon, the service could be led by lay leaders.

Video recordings of Amanda preaching the sermon and teaching the children’s story are available to download below and use in your worship service or to inspire the development of your own sermon.
