New and Renewed Ministry Fund

Is God calling you into a new era of ministry? The PCC has launched a new grant initiative, the New and Renewed Ministry Fund. This funding opportunity seeks to support ministry leaders and congregations as they open themselves up to discerning God’s vision and exploring new opportunities to live out Christ’s mission through three streams: Establishing New Ministries, Renewing Ministries and the New Beginnings Renewal Program. Applications must be received by April 15.

Support the Indigenous Ministry
Endowment Fund

The Indigenous Ministries Endowment Fund provides a stable source of funding that helps the PCC's eight recognized Indigenous ministries across the denomination work with Indigenous people to provide educational and spiritual programs designed to foster healing and cultural restoration. This work includes education about the history and impact of residential schools and colonialism, the promotion of positive Indigenous identity, and practical and spiritual support to Indigenous people.

The PCC offers beautifully designed church bulletin covers for Sunday worship services through the year. New bulletin covers for baptisms, communion and ordinations are now available.

The PCC seeks two Canadian Presbyterian young adults to attend the Reformed Church in Hungary‘s Starpoint Youth Festival, July 21–28, 2019, in Debrecen, Hungary. Participants must be between 18 and 34 years.

February was Black History Month and the PCC recognized the legacy and contributions of Black Canadians, past and present, through prayer.

On April 28—30, 2019, the Canadian Interfaith Conversation is sponsoring a conference called Our Whole Society: Identity and Common Ground in an Age of Transition aiming to foster a new dialogue about the changing role of religion in Canadian society. There's still time to apply for the PCC national office position of Associate Secretary, Justice Ministries. The deadline for applications is March 8.

The Assembly Council is carrying out a three-year review of the strategic plan that was approved by the General Assembly in 2016. In light of this, you are invited to share your experiences and comments about the plan and a brief survey has been prepared to share your feedback.
