Stepping out boldly in faith, Central Presbyterian Church formed a partnership with Galilee Korean Presbyterian Church 밴쿠버 갈릴리 교회 to redevelop their land in downtown Vancouver. The two churches worked collaboratively and faithfully together to create a large complex that includes living space for seniors and low-income housing as well as gathering space for the congregations and community groups.

After many months of construction – and anticipation – Central Presbyterian Church recently completed their move to the new shared facility. Sunday, August 12 marked the congregation’s first service in their new worshipping space, resulting in stunned awe and excitement among its members.

The new building project is an exemplary and innovative Christian witness in central Vancouver and for the rest of our denomination. Is your church exploring new partnerships or creative options for your worshipping space? Share your experience in the comment section below.
