The Presbyterian Church in Canada has joined its voice with over 100 Muslim, interfaith and community groups across the country calling on the Canadian government to designate January 29 a National Day of Action Against Hate and Intolerance.

In memory of the victims of the deadly attack, the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) spearheaded an open letter, signed by the PCC, and sent to the Canadian government in the spirit of allowing all Canadians “to join together in the fight against Islamophobia and hate of all kinds.”
