PWS&D supports people displaced by conflict, disaster and persecution as a response to Christ’s call to love our neighbour. When refugees settle in camps, PWS&D helps to provide food, clean water, emergency supplies and psychosocial support. After conflict and disaster have passed, PWS&D assists in the reconstruction of communities and the rebuilding of livelihoods. When refugees cannot find a safe place to live, PWS&D helps Canadian Presbyterian congregations sponsor refugees to come to Canada.
