In Panyijar County, South Sudan, Nicholas Chege Gitau, a nutritionist, helps a child drink a cup of nutrient milk at a centre where children are treated for severe malnourishment with medical complications. This is just one of many activities that aim to reduce morbidity and mortality among vulnerable, displaced persons and host populations by improving access to essential nutrition services for children with severe and moderate acute malnutrition as well as pregnant and lactating women.
