The Canadian Government has extended the deadline to match individual donations for Pakistan Flood Relief until October 3, 2010. Congregations can collect funds for Pakistan inclusive of October 3, and forward one cheque to PWS&D with a list of the donor names and amounts that make up the total. These funds will be matched in the government’s Pakistan Floods Relief Fund.

PWS&D is continuing to assist nearly 300,000 flood victims in Pakistan with food, clean water, emergency supplies, shelter and medical care.

Your prayerful and financial support is still needed to ensure those most affected access the help they need to recover and rebuild from this disaster. You can make a donation to PWS&D through your church, by mailing a cheque to the office, calling PWS&D at 1-800-619-7301 ext. 291 or by donating online. Please mark all donations “Pakistan Flood Relief.”

Presbyterian World Service & Development is the development and relief agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Visit the PWS&D Facebook page.
