She also served on the Canadian Dental Association Educational Committee in the same decade. From 1970, Donna served as an Elder in The Presbyterian Church in Canada through Iona Presbyterian Church, North York. She was also an active member of East Toronto Presbytery for two separate periods. Donna was exhilarated in her employment in the 90s as Returning Officer for the Don Valley West Riding in two consecutive Ontario Elections. Throughout her life, family and friends were constant sources of pleasure for Donna as was driving a car, politics, philosophy, travelling, teaching English as a Second Language and working on not-for-profit committees. Donna was most grateful for all the gracious and generous caring she received over the past year. I was thinking about Donna just this past June while at General Assembly; that is where we met and every time I went to an assembly for a number of years I would become reacquainted with Donna. She was always warm and friend, and a woman of great faith. I missed her at General Assembly in June, but I will always remember her when I go.
