Very sad. A great visionary with a heart for mission.

I just heard of Rodger’s death this Holy Week. Beginning the triduum, his church and I have been gifted with a depth and richness in contemplating the mystery of the cross, human suffering and compassionate justice that Rodger so graciously embodied and so brilliantly articulated. A great one among us in his presence. A greater one among us in his absence. Drew Strickland, Chalmers United Church, Kingston ON.

At a young age Rodger introduced me to the Boarding Home Ministries where I gained so much as a human being and a Christian. May his love for the Lord and humanity live on.

Rodger and I worked together at Glenview for three years. He was a compassionate mentor and great friend.

I went to high school with Rodger. He was a compassionate individual from the start. I will miss him dearly.
