PCConnect—March Edition

Be Bold for Change

March 8 is International Women’s Day, celebrating the achievements of women in their struggle for equality, peace and development. See our online exhibit of the 50th Anniversary of the Ordination of Women 1966-2016. As well, learn how our church is actively supporting international programs that benefit women through Presbyterian World Service & Development.

The Connection is Here!

The first-ever issue of the Presbyterian Connection newspaper is being printed printed. Copies will go out mid-March. Subscribe today! Help spread the word by making a short announcement during worship and distributing bulletin inserts. The Presbyterian Connection aims to share news, updates and stories—connecting Presbyterians across the country.

Resources for Lent

Visit our website for a variety of seasonal resources for worship and family activities, like how to create a Lenten Tree and a "Love Your Neighbour" covenant. Also this season, a reminder to reach out to our brothers and sisters around the world with the PWS&D Lent liturgies (large print and PowerPoint versions available).

Your Gifts in Action

Check out an inspiring new video that will help you learn more about the mission and ministry supported by gifts to Presbyterians Sharing. The video, Your Gifts in Action, is just over four minutes long, and can be shared at an annual meeting, as a mission moment, at coffee time—or any other time you want to highlight what we can accomplish together through Presbyterians Sharing.

Mission Staff Arrive Safely

Our newest mission staff have left for their assignments and have arrived safely overseas. Be sure to read their story blogs of mission and ministry! Nick and Becky Bauman, with their three children, are living in Nepal and Jackie Bannerman is in Hungary.
