Five bulletin inserts from the International Affairs Committee draw attention to God’s message of care that leads us to offer hospitality and to be concerned with healing broken relationships and upholding the dignity of all people.
These bulletins reflect upon the situation of Dominican citizens of Haitian descent in the Dominican Republic, Koreans in Japan, Roma people in Hungary and the Ukraine, Indigenous people in Guatemala, and the need to respect the human rights of all people, regardless of their sexual orientation.
When an alien resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress the alien. The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
