New Worship Resource for Healing and Reconciliation

A Time for Hope cover

Our church’s journey toward reconciliation continues. Justice Ministries has produced a new worship resource, A Time for Hope, to assist worship leaders to lift up in prayer the people who are living with the legacy of residential schools and those living out the spirit of the UN Declaration.

While both services in the resource can be used at any time of year, please consider these two notable days for worship:

  • Healing and Reconciliation Sunday is May 22. The first service highlights the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action.
  • National Aboriginal Day Sunday is June 19. The second service focuses on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
